Follow these tips to maximize your battery life and keep your EV running at peak efficiency.
Keep charge between 20–80%
Letting the battery dip close to 0% or charging it to 100% regularly stresses the cells and reduces their long-term capacity. Most EVs let you set a charge limit — use it.
Avoid extreme heat exposure
Don't leave your EV parked under the hot sun for extended periods. Extreme temperatures accelerate chemical degradation inside lithium-ion cells. Use shade or a garage whenever possible.
Check battery coolant regularly
EV batteries have a thermal management system with liquid coolant. Check the coolant level at every service to ensure the battery stays within its safe operating temperature range.
Store at 40–60% when parked long
