What is ARAI Range?

Government-tested range figure — optimistic by nature.

Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) tests EVs in controlled lab conditions for official range certification. These figures are optimistic — real-world range is typically 75-85% of ARAI claimed. A car with '500 km ARAI range' usually delivers 400-430 km in mixed driving.
